This city will find an excuse. In any case. Magic is just about as unusual as every other incident that happens in this place.

Exactly. There should actually be an, mm, arbitrator of sorts, that you can consult to get a clearer idea of what's happening than you can from me. The War didn't exist in my time. Do you have any contact with an association of mages or something?

No. Magic is not a pastime of mine—well. Hasn't been a pastime of mine since I was young. There is hardly a need for me to associate with such people.
